The Equatorial Guinea-India Hydrocarbons & Industry Forum was an event hosted by the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Energy of Equatorial Guinea. The 1-day forum was held to promote investment opportunities in the energy, hydrocarbons and industrial sectors of Equatorial Guinea.
The Equatorial Guinea-India Hydrocarbons & Industry Forum took place on January 22, 2016 at The Leela Palace. It coincided with the India-Africa Hydrocarbons Conference, hosted by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India in New Delhi from January 20-22.
The forum featured presentations by top ministry officials, including H.E. Gabriel Mbaga Obiang Lima, the Minister of Mines, Industry and Energy. The ministry presented its policy and regulatory framework and the prime investment prospects in the oil and gas and industrial sectors.
The Equatorial Guinea-Asia Economic Forum was an official initiative of the Government of Equatorial Guinea, in conjunction with the Government of Dalian.
The Equatorial Guinea-Asia Economic Forum united political and business leaders from Equatorial Guinea with China’s top investors, with the aim of increasing investment in this emerging and stable African market. HE President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and a delegation of Equatorial Guinea government ministers and directors outlined the opportunities for investment and held talks with Chinese officials.
